The 2025 Hāmākua Fair

No – the Hāmākua Fair is FREE to attend!

We encourage you to support our local businesses and organizations that will be participating throughout the day.

 Absolutely! We welcome ʻohana of all ages.

• Enjoy free keiki and educational activities available all day.
• There will be live music from 1 PM to 9 PM.
• Bring lawn chairs or beach blankets to relax on the grass and enjoy the festivities.

Here’s a list of recommended items to make your day more enjoyable:

• Reusable water bottle – stay hydrated!
• Comfortable clothes and walking Shoes
• Cash – some vendors and fundraisers may not accept cards.
• Lawn chairs or beach blankets – perfect for lounging and enjoying the music.

 Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome. 

We even have a historic dog contest that you and your furry friend can participate in! 

 Parking is available throughout Honokaʻa. Please drive carefully and watch for pedestrians.

Possible parking areas include:

• Public street parking near local businesses – don’t forget to stop in and support them!
• Parking lot above the park along Lehua Street.
• Grassy areas – you may park here at your own risk, just be respectful of others and the environment.

Yes! A shuttle will be available, operating within town only.

• In front of the Honokaʻa Heritage Center
• Corner of Māmāne & Puakalo Streets
• Near the Honokaʻa Skate Park
