Hāmākua Fair Vendor Information - October 4th, 2025


Vender Fees:

  • Artisan & Merchandise - $65
  • Nonprofits or Education Booths - Free! Unless you are planning to sell items, in which case we will ask that you cover the County Vendor fee of $30. 
  • Food Vendors (Tents/Trucks/Trailers) - $100


Instructions: 

This is a two-part process

1. Reserve your spot by completing payment using the button/link to the right.


2. Submit the County's Vendor Permit and a copy of your GET Tax License to hamakuasugardays.org.

*Please note that the name on your Vendor Permit and your GET License must match!



Hāmākua Sugar Days Vendor Rules and Policies

Event Date: October 4th, 2025


Event Location: Honokaʻa Park, Lehua Street, Honokaʻa, HI

  1. Set-Up and Take Down:
    • Vendor set-up begins at 8 am and must be completed by 10 am. Parade in Honokaʻa begins at 11am and concludes at the Honokaʻa Park Complex.
    •  Take down can commence at 5 pm.

  1. Vendor Fees:
    • Vendor fees collected are allocated for county expenses, while all other associated fees contribute to fulfilling the mission of the Honokaʻa Heritage Center.

  1. Space Allocation:
    • Vendor set-up preferences will be accepted on a first-come, first-pay basis.
    • Space will be designated for vendors in the lower parking lot, inside the gym, and on the grassy area of the upper field.

  1. Vendor Set-Up Requirements
    • Vendors in outdoor areas must have a 10x10 tents
    • Tents must be anchored at each of its four legs to withstand strong winds.

  1. Parking:
    • Parking will be in designated parking areas. Please follow instructions from event staff for parking arrangements.

  1. Booth Safety:
    •  It is mandatory for each vendor to maintain safe conditions in and around their booth area.

  1. Regulatory Compliance:
    •  All vendors are required to have appropriate permits, including food permits and General Excise Tax (GET) licenses, visibly displayed.
    • Vendors must comply with all Hawaii Department of Health food handling regulations.

  1. Refuse Disposal:
    • Vendors are responsible for disposing of their own refuse. Please ensure proper disposal throughout the event.

  1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
    • All vendors must comply with County, State, and Federal ordinances, regulations, and fire marshal instructions.

  1. Event Cleanliness:
    • Vendors are required to keep their booth area clean and appealing throughout the duration of the event.
